Overview

Supports cash-based humanitarian assistance in Cambodia through needs assessments, programme tools, field guidance, accountability mechanisms and partner coordination. The role tracks delivery and budgets, prepares evidence and reports, and helps ensure cash projects meet IOM and donor standards.

Responsibilities

  • Support cash-project assessments, targeting, distributions and technical implementation
  • Develop cash-programme procedures, tools and methodologies
  • Build field-team capacity and support accountable delivery to beneficiaries
  • Manage feedback mechanisms with the Monitoring and Evaluation Unit
  • Draft concept notes, workplans, reports and project documentation
  • Coordinate administrative and technical matters with partners and service providers
  • Track implementation, budgets and synergies with other IOM projects
  • Conduct field monitoring and verify compliance with donor and project requirements

Requirements

  • University degree in economics, social sciences, political science or a related field with three years of relevant experience, or high school completion with five years of relevant experience
  • Experience working in humanitarian settings
  • Experience and knowledge in cash-based programming
  • Experience liaising with government, institutions, NGOs and private-sector partners
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience with databases, assessment tools and reporting
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Khmer
