Job Description

WFP seeks a Programme Associate in Monrovia to support emergency preparedness and response and cooperating-partner management. The role contributes to contingency and response planning, agreement tracking and partner due diligence, coordinates operational follow-up across teams, maintains dashboards and archives, supports partner orientation and performance review, and provides reports,.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Support emergency-preparedness, contingency and response planning
  • Track programme partnership agreements, amendments, expiry dates and compliance actions
  • Support partner mapping, due diligence, registration and selection documentation
  • Prepare partnership committee agendas, minutes and decision tracking
  • Maintain partner databases, trackers, archives and management reports
  • Support partner performance reviews, spot checks and improvement plans
  • Organize partner orientation and capacity-strengthening sessions
  • Coordinate follow-up across programme, field, finance, supply-chain and risk teams

Role Requirements

  • Completion of secondary school education
  • At least six years of progressively responsible experience in programme implementation, emergency preparedness and response, food assistance, partner management or field operations
  • Fluency in oral and written English

Desired Criteria

  • Early-warning, needs-analysis or response-coordination experience
  • Knowledge of local Liberian languages
