Responsibilities
- Draft and edit letters, speeches, talking points, presentations and political updates for senior leadership
- Coordinate General Assembly-mandated DPPA-DPO reports and town hall secretariat functions
- Prepare conference reports and track implementation of recommendations
- Monitor extrabudgetary resources and support outreach and fundraising
- Support digital transformation and sexual exploitation and abuse focal-point work
- Plan and supervise the Correspondence Team programme and personnel
- Review sensitive correspondence for accuracy, clarity and United Nations editorial standards
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in political science, international relations, law, public administration, management or a related field, or a first-level degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
- At least five years of progressively responsible experience in political affairs, international relations, management or a related field
- Experience using Excel for complex extrabudgetary management
- Supervisory experience
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives
- Experience addressing sexual exploitation and abuse issues
- English at United Nations Level III
