National Staff Counsellor

IOM Ukraine seeks a National Staff Counsellor to provide psychological counselling and staff welfare support to staff members and dependents in Kyiv. The role includes emergency response support, training on mental health and wellbeing, and coordination with UN staff welfare networks.

Department: Staff Welfare

• Provide in-person and online psychological counselling to staff and dependents
• Conduct psychosocial risk assessments in the workplace
• Provide training on stress management, wellbeing and critical incidents
• Coordinate Staff Welfare responses to emergencies and critical incidents
• Liaise with local and regional mental health resources for referrals

• Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Counselling or Psychiatry with 5 years relevant experience, or University degree with 7 years relevant experience
• Active license, certification or registered membership in relevant professional organization
• Minimum 5 years relevant counselling experience post licensure
