Career Counsellor Consultant

IOM Poland seeks a Career Counsellor Consultant to support development of a standard for career counselling and employment services for foreign nationals within Public Employment Services, under the PES Standardisation project. Deliverables include an analytical review of existing practices, recommendations, and drafting the career counselling section of the standard over 12 weeks.

Department: Labour Market and Social Inclusion Unit, IOM Poland

• Prepare an analytical review of existing standards, tools and methodologies for career counselling and employment services for foreign nationals (within 4 weeks)
• Develop recommendations on career counselling and employment services for foreign nationals within Public Employment Services (within 8 weeks)
• Prepare the section of the standard on career counselling and employment services incorporating IOM and stakeholder feedback (within 12 weeks)

• Master's degree in social sciences, career counselling, or related field
• At least 5 years professional experience in labour market integration activities, including minimum 3 years as career counsellor
• Proven experience in career counselling with specialization in working with foreign clients
• Fluency in Polish written and spoken required

• Consultancy under the Standardisation of Services for Foreign Nationals in PES project (EU Funds for Social Development 2021-2027)
• IOM covers consultants for occupational accidents/illness only, not non-occupational medical/evacuation insurance
