Responsibilities
- Develop a national out-of-school children policy, strategy and implementation plan
- Build the policy package on Nigeria’s 2022 out-of-school children framework
- Integrate emerging evidence and changes in the education context since 2022
- Support the Federal Ministry of Education’s government-led policy-development process
- Address enrolment, retention, completion, transition and school-dropout challenges
- Translate education evidence into practical and actionable policy advice
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Education Development, Sustainable Development, Education Policy, Out-of-School Children, Teacher Training, International Relations or a related field
- At least eight years of experience in education-sector planning and developing education plans or policy documents in Nigeria or a comparable context
- Experience supporting government-led education reform in Sub-Saharan Africa or a comparable Nigerian context
- Experience developing or implementing initiatives on school dropout, enrolment, retention, completion and transition
- Fluency in English
- Open only to Nigerian nationals
