Monitoring Assistant

Coordinates field monitoring across programme sites, verifies activity quality and assistance standards, gathers and analyses operational data, supports partners and communities, and produces timely reports that guide school-feeding, nutrition and resilience delivery.

Department: RAM/Programme

• Plan field missions and ensure monitoring coverage across programme sites
• Record site visits and urgent incidents in the RAM reporting platform
• Monitor partner delivery of school feeding, nutrition and resilience activities
• Collect and analyse programme, process and output indicator data
• Verify the quality and quantity of food or cash assistance against WFP standards
• Support partners with technical proposals, financial reports and activity reporting
• Guide beneficiaries on production, market access and value-chain participation
• Produce monthly monitoring reports and operational recommendations

• Completed secondary education supplemented by a post-secondary certificate or diploma in economics, agronomy, social sciences, statistics, nutrition or a related field
• At least five years of experience and knowledge in school feeding, nutrition and resilience activities
• Fluency in spoken and written French
• Very good command of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Fixed-term appointment for 12 months
• Expected start date is January 2027
