Overview
The officer will coordinate field-programme support and monitoring for FAO’s Central Africa office in Libreville. The role will track pipelines and delivery, support project formulation and approvals, advise budget holders, manage programme data and follow risk, evaluation, audit and closure actions.

Responsibilities
- Monitor pipeline and active projects and prepare programme reports and briefs
- Flag delivery problems and follow up corrective action with budget holders
- Support project identification, formulation, appraisal and approval processes
- Coordinate scheduled inputs, delivery estimates and project closure actions
- Maintain field-programme data and train staff in FPMIS use
- Track risk, evaluation recommendations, post-audit plans and learning activities
Requirements
- Gabonese nationality
- Advanced degree in agriculture, agricultural economics, forestry, fisheries or another FAO-related field
- At least five years of agricultural-development or project-cycle experience
- Working knowledge of French and a local language
- Intermediate knowledge of English
