Job Description
Leads monitoring and evaluation for UNCDF’s Pro-Congo initiative, which mobilizes investment in sustainable Congo Basin enterprises. The volunteer operationalizes the framework, manages results and spatial data, coordinates partners and field reviews, and delivers analysis and reporting that guide nature-based solutions, forest conservation, biodiversity protection and private-sector finance.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Operationalize the multi-year M&E framework and methodological guide
- Update the project results framework with baselines and data
- Monitor M&E plan implementation and data-collection methodologies
- Develop data-collection tools
- Track programme activities, outputs, outcomes and impacts using GIS verification
- Oversee qualitative, quantitative and georeferenced data collection and reporting
- Coordinate monitoring visits and partner reviews
- Prepare project reporting and contribute to UNCDF corporate M&E activities
Role Requirements
- Master’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience, or bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience
- English
- French
Desired Criteria
- Professional experience with UN, research or international development institutions
- Experience implementing carbon projects
- Experience with UNCDF and UNDP rules and procedures
- Experience with CAFI, REDD+, global funds, IFIs or another UN entity
