Applies life cycle assessment and costing to Saudi Arabia’s waste system, comparing policy and financial scenarios, quantifying environmental and economic impacts, and translating results into practical recommendations and training for national waste-management decision makers.

• Build life cycle inventories for waste streams under MWAN’s mandate
• Assess environmental hotspots across Saudi Arabia’s waste-management system
• Compare strategy implementation and business-as-usual scenarios
• Quantify economic impacts and externalities through life cycle costing
• Design and deliver life-cycle assessment training for MWAN personnel

• Advanced degree in environmental science, waste management, engineering or a related field
• At least five years of experience in life cycle assessment and life cycle costing
• Experience building life cycle inventories and using life cycle assessment software
• Fluency in English

• Expected duration: three months
