Summary of Responsibilities
- Identify and screen investment opportunities, counterparties and proposals
- Support due diligence of investees and financial institutions
- Design and manage calls for proposals and evaluate submissions
- Support blended-finance structuring, transaction documentation and investment notes
- Monitor portfolio performance, field verification and impact reporting
- Coordinate investment activities with UNCDF teams and partners
Role Requirements
- Advanced degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or a related field with at least 7 years of relevant professional experience
- Bachelor degree in a relevant field with an additional 10 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in development finance, energy finance or emerging-market investments
- Experience supporting grants, debt or guarantee instruments
- Experience engaging with financial institutions and MSMEs
Desired Criteria
- Familiarity with UNCDF, UNDP or other UN-system processes
- Knowledge of the DRC financial and regulatory context
- CFA, ACCA or CPA certification
