Overview
Supports UNCDF’s Sustainable Energy 2 programme through financial management, administration and compliance. The analyst prepares budgets and reports, monitors expenditure and cash flow, manages procurement and records, supports audits and due diligence, and coordinates operational inputs with partners and donors.

Responsibilities
- Prepare annual workplans, budgets, revisions and procurement plans
- Monitor expenditure, cash flow, forecasts and compliance with approved budgets
- Conduct FACE reviews, cashbook and bank reconciliations
- Maintain financial records and consolidate investee reports for donors and UNCDF
- Support quotations, proposals, contracts, procurement records and vendor performance
- Oversee logistics, assets, travel and programme documentation
- Prepare audit evidence and support risk-management and compliance measures
- Collect due-diligence data and coordinate financial matters with partners and government
Requirements
- Professional accounting qualification from an internationally accredited institute, or a master’s degree in Finance or Accounting, or a bachelor’s degree in those fields with two additional years of qualifying experience
- Two years of finance and operations experience for applicants qualifying with a bachelor’s degree
- Fluency in French and English
- Applicants without a professional accountancy qualification may need to complete the Finance Training and Certification Programme or pass the Advanced Accountancy and Finance Test as specified
