Supports the Systematic Observations Financing Facility team in tracking readiness and investment-phase delivery. The internship helps analyse progress reports and funding requests, maintains operational and learning databases, compiles programme information, and contributes to portfolio monitoring for climate and meteorological investment activities within a UN specialized agency.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Monitor and administer SOFF Readiness phase outputs
- Analyse progress reports for SOFF implementation monitoring
- Support review of Investment funding requests through the UNMPTF Gateway
- Track implementation progress and reporting requirements
- Compile operational data and information for the SOFF team
- Maintain the SOFF Operations Database and Learning Platform
- Support SOFF operational activities
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Meteorology, Environmental Science, Climate, Disaster Risk Management, International Relations or a related field
- Excellent oral and written English
Desired Criteria
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Experience on climate-change projects or programmes
- Experience on development projects or climate finance in developing countries
- Experience working in international contexts
- Interest in climate change, meteorology or international development
