International Consultant - Health Legislation, WHO Country Office, Viet Nam

WHO seeks an international consultant to support Viet Nam's Ministry of Health with health-legislation development and implementation. The consultant will consolidate technical advice, analyse regulatory frameworks, track the legislative agenda and report progress while working remotely with possible Hanoi travel.

• Consolidate WHO technical input on laws and secondary legislation
• Analyse regulatory and institutional frameworks for priority health outcomes
• Develop legal and regulatory options and recommendations
• Track health-related laws, decrees, circulars and WHO contributions
• Coordinate cross-team knowledge and participate in meetings and workshops
• Submit periodic legislative and monthly progress reports

• Undergraduate degree in health legislation, public administration, public health or a relevant area
• At least five years of relevant health-legislation and health-policy experience
• Expert written and spoken English
• Expertise in health-related legislation in Viet Nam
