Gestionnaire de Bases de Données et Business Intelligence – Gender Data Lab

UN Women seeks a database and business intelligence consultant for Senegal's Gender Data Lab. The assignment covers relational and vector databases, data models, ETL pipelines, quality controls, Power BI dashboards, retrieval-augmented search, security, backup and recovery, monitoring and technical documentation.

Department: Gender Data Lab / ANSD

• Design and administer relational and vector databases for the Gender Data Lab
• Develop data models, ETL or ELT pipelines and integration interfaces
• Implement data quality, validation and governance controls
• Build Power BI dashboards and analytical models
• Support semantic search and retrieval-augmented generation capabilities
• Configure access controls, backup, recovery, replication and monitoring
• Document the data architecture and support secure production operations

• Master's degree in information technology, data engineering, business intelligence or a related field
• At least two years of relational database administration experience
• Business intelligence and Power BI experience
• ETL pipeline experience
• Delivery of at least two data-platform or business-intelligence projects
• Fluency in French

• Full-time office-based assignment at ANSD in Dakar
• Occasional travel within Senegal may be required
