Senior Business Intelligence and AI Specialist

UNRWA seeks a consultant to deliver enterprise business-intelligence and AI solutions from Amman or remotely in its fields of operation. The role builds dimensional warehouses, ETL pipelines, semantic models, Power BI dashboards and Copilot-enabled analytics while assuring data quality, documentation and knowledge transfer.

Department: Digital Impact, Technology and Innovation Department

• Translate business requirements into enterprise BI and AI solution designs
• Develop dimensional data warehouses, semantic models and OLAP cubes
• Build, optimise and maintain ETL and ELT data pipelines
• Create Power BI reports, KPI scorecards and AI-powered dashboards
• Implement Microsoft Copilot and generative-AI capabilities in analytics workflows
• Profile, validate and monitor enterprise data quality
• Document solutions and transfer knowledge to technical teams

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, data science, artificial intelligence, software engineering or a related field
• At least six years of relevant experience in business intelligence, analytics, data engineering, data warehousing or software development
• Extensive Power BI and SQL Server experience
• Data-warehouse design, dimensional-modelling and ETL or ELT experience
• Experience implementing AI-powered analytics, Microsoft Copilot or generative-AI solutions
• Fluency in Arabic and English

• Based at UNRWA Headquarters Amman with remote consultancy possible in UNRWA fields of operation
• Extension depends on funds, need and satisfactory performance
