Responsibilities
- Administer payroll, entitlements, movements and personnel records
- Check and authorise personnel action forms and portfolio documents
- Process and verify HR management system transactions
- Prepare personnel case summaries, statistics and operational reports
- Maintain complete and accessible personnel files
- Respond to staff and departmental queries on HR services
- Allocate work and train or supervise assigned support personnel
Requirements
- University degree in human resource management, business administration or public administration
- Three years of relevant human-resources experience, including one year in a supervisory HR function
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, internet and office technology
- English at UN Level II and Arabic at UN Level I
- Residence in Syria within commuting distance of Damascus with authorisation to work
