Responsibilities
- Develop FPGA firmware for phase, amplitude and resonance control
- Implement diagnostics and digital signal-processing functions
- Create Python automation for testing and commissioning
- Validate firmware with mixed-signal laboratory hardware
- Support installation and commissioning of accelerator RF systems
- Maintain code through Git-based review and continuous integration
Requirements
- Master’s degree with two to six years of relevant experience since graduation, or a PhD with no more than three years of relevant experience
- Degree in electronics engineering or a closely related field
- Experience developing FPGA firmware in VHDL or Verilog
- Knowledge of digital signal processing, RF systems and control theory
- Good command of English
- Nationality of a CERN Member or Associate Member State
- Valid driving licence
