Team Leader

Leads the IAEA Application Maintenance Team, managing secure software engineering, application architecture and maintenance for Department of Safeguards software products.

Department: Application Maintenance Team

• Lead development and delivery of complex software products for the Department of Safeguards
• Manage software developers acting as technical leads
• Ensure timely delivery through agile software development practices
• Ensure ICT products comply with security, architecture, usability and process standards
• Drive the Divisional Enterprise Architecture Group
• Coach, mentor and develop team staff and performance criteria
• Maintain and improve secure software development, continuous deployment and testing processes

• Advanced university degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or a related field
• Minimum ten years of relevant ICT experience with increasing responsibilities
• At least two years of experience managing and coaching staff in a multicultural environment
• Experience designing and leading large service-based architectures and full-stack development using .NET Core, Angular and relational databases
• Experience with application security in a highly confidential environment
• Excellent oral and written command of English

• Duration: 36 months
• Contract type: Fixed Term - Regular
• Probation period: 1 year
• Selection exercise may be used for a pre-approved candidate roster for similar functions
• Closing time is based on the applicant's local time zone
• Starting annual net base salary: US$103,165
