  • Prepare and analyse actinides in safeguards samples using mass spectrometry
  • Coordinate inspection sample and quality-control workflows
  • Develop and follow analytical procedures and quality-control charts
  • Maintain analytical and ancillary equipment for reliable results
  • Support laboratory operation and quality standards
  • Implement improved methodologies for high-accuracy actinide analysis

Requirements

  • University degree in physical science, analytical chemistry, geochemistry or a related field
  • Minimum five years of experience working with Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry
  • Excellent oral and written command of English
  • Medical clearance and radiation health monitoring as an Occupationally Exposed Worker
