IT Project Manager

Manages safeguards IT projects and product delivery, translating business needs into technology capabilities and advising management on project risk, change and system implementation.

Department: Project Support Team

• Develop project plans, solution options and controls for risk, quality, budget and schedule
• Manage implementation of new information systems and enhancements to existing systems
• Lead agile software implementation teams through the software development lifecycle
• Serve as product manager for safeguards IT products
• Collaborate with clients, providers, end users and SGIS technical teams
• Support project and product portfolio management through data analysis and visualization

• Advanced university degree in computer science, information technology or a related field, or a university degree with two additional years of relevant experience
• Minimum five years of experience as an IT project manager in an information systems context in a client-facing role
• Experience leading software delivery teams using a lean or agile approach such as SCRUM
• Experience using techniques and tools to explore and validate requirements with clients
• Excellent oral and written command of English

• Fixed-term regular appointment for 36 months
• Probation period of one year
