Overview
The technician will support NCIA digital infrastructure in Brussels, designing simple system components, integrating software builds and maintaining infrastructure services, storage, performance monitoring and backups for NATO CIS services.

Responsibilities
- Create designs for simple systems or components using standard approaches and design patterns
- Define software modules for integration builds and verify completed modules against defined criteria
- Install, configure and maintain infrastructure services and components
- Monitor and report on infrastructure load, performance and security events
- Implement secure storage configurations, scheduled backups and restores under operational procedures
Requirements
- Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 2 years of post-related experience, or secondary educational qualification with 4 years of post-related experience
- At least 2 years of experience implementing and managing technology, software and hardware components for servers, storage systems, data centers and cloud services
- Practical experience troubleshooting infrastructure issues and performing regular maintenance
- Adequate communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English
