Responsibilities

  • Monitor implementation partner agreements, service contracts and consultancies for Horizontes Amazonia
  • Prepare progress, budget and risk reports to support programme decisions
  • Maintain tracking matrices, management tools and programme documentation
  • Analyse budget execution and recommend improvements to financial planning
  • Provide financial technical assistance to implementing partners on reporting and accountability
  • Identify funding opportunities, strategic allies and youth entrepreneurship initiatives
  • Prepare concept notes, project profiles, technical proposals and executive reports
  • Systematise lessons learned and recommendations for programme sustainability

Requirements

  • University degree in economics, administration, accounting, engineering, social sciences or a related field
  • Completed master degree in planning, project management, public policy, sustainable development, international cooperation, monitoring and evaluation or a related field
  • At least ten years of professional experience in the public sector, private sector or international cooperation
  • At least two years of experience coordinating, managing or monitoring development programmes, projects or initiatives
  • At least three years of experience in monitoring, information analysis, project management or results-based management
  • Experience in at least one organisation with project formulation, resource mobilisation, budget management, international cooperation or inter-institutional coordination responsibilities
  • Intermediate or advanced Microsoft Excel skills and intermediate or advanced Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills
  • Native or advanced Spanish and intermediate English
  • Must be entitled to work in Peru and must not hold a current contract or appointment with the state
