Responsibilities

  • Plan and monitor integrated health and nutrition interventions in earthquake-affected municipalities
  • Assess needs and service gaps through visits to communities, health facilities and temporary shelters
  • Support restoration of maternal, neonatal and child health and nutrition services
  • Coordinate local authorities, implementing partners and humanitarian actors
  • Train and mentor health personnel, partners and community actors
  • Monitor service coverage, quality and use of health and nutrition supplies
  • Collect, consolidate and analyse programme data for operational decisions
  • Prepare technical situation updates and recommend corrective action

Requirements

  • University-level professional background in public health, nutrition, medicine, paediatrics, obstetrics or neonatology
  • Demonstrated experience in health and nutrition
  • Experience coordinating technically with local authorities and institutional or community actors
  • Practical experience supporting maternal, neonatal and child health, nutrition or essential services
  • Ability to analyse health and nutrition information and prepare technical reports
