Education in Emergencies Officer (HER Roster)

Support UNICEF Vietnam emergency-education programmes through implementation, supply coordination, field monitoring and sector collaboration. The officer tracks results, prepares situation and donor reports, supports proposals and visibility, coordinates partners and strengthens preparedness for continued learning during crises.

• Support timely implementation of partner-led emergency-education responses
• Manage education supply planning, procurement, distribution and monitoring
• Coordinate UNICEF, education authorities and sector partners
• Conduct field visits, needs assessments and technical follow-up
• Maintain humanitarian performance records and monitor response targets
• Prepare situation reports, donor reports and proposal inputs
• Document field stories and support donor visibility events
• Coordinate sector meetings, 5W data and capacity building

• Relevant background in education, emergency management or a related technical field
• At least three years of development planning and management experience in education or related areas, including field-based emergency or displacement work
• Fluent English and Vietnamese
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks

• Roster inclusion for up to six months does not guarantee assignment
