Job Description

Supports OCHA’s Financial Tracking Service as an Online Volunteer editing screen-recorded training sessions for humanitarian partners. The role reviews recordings, improves flow and audio, removes interruptions, creates branding slides, adds captions and callouts, explores multilingual options, creates smooth transitions, and delivers optimised MP4 training videos with source project files.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Review raw screen-recorded FTS training sessions
  • Edit videos to improve flow, clarity and viewer engagement
  • Remove pauses, interruptions, background noise and off-topic discussions
  • Enhance audio quality where feasible
  • Add OCHA-branded introductory and closing slides
  • Insert titles, captions, callouts and highlights for key FTS steps
  • Export web-optimised MP4 videos for online sharing and dissemination

Role Requirements

  • Experience with video-editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Camtasia, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or Adobe After Effects
  • Ability to edit screen-recorded tutorials and training materials
  • Ability to meet agreed timelines, expectations and milestones
  • Strong attention to detail and presentation quality

Desired Criteria

  • Experience creating educational or instructional videos
  • Familiarity with humanitarian information-management tools or the UN system
