Responsibilities
- Drive authorised passengers and transport documents or cargo in UNHCR vehicles
- Meet official personnel and facilitate airport, immigration and customs formalities
- Inspect assigned vehicles and maintain oil, water, batteries, brakes and tyres
- Perform minor repairs and arrange larger repairs while keeping vehicles clean
- Record trips, mileage, fuel use, servicing and vehicle documentation
- Follow security instructions during all movements
- Apply accident procedures and report mechanical or operational issues
- Support official movements, airport transfers and field missions
Requirements
- Completion of primary education or high school diploma with at least two years of relevant experience
- Valid driving licence
- Knowledge of driving rules and regulations
- Knowledge of English and/or the UN working language of the duty station
