Responsibilities
- Drive UNICEF personnel and authorized passengers safely and reliably
- Follow local traffic rules, security procedures and UNICEF transport protocols
- Plan routes and use navigation tools for efficient travel
- Inspect vehicles and coordinate routine maintenance
- Maintain trip, fuel and vehicle records
- Use radio and mobile communications during assignments
- Respond appropriately to breakdowns, emergencies and security incidents
- Support administrative tasks during non-driving periods
Requirements
- Secondary education
- Valid driving licence and knowledge of local traffic rules
- At least two years of driving experience with an international organization, embassy or UN entity
- Safe driving record
- English fluency
