Responsibilities

  • Integrate scientific datasets with European AI factories and supercomputers
  • Design and validate federated storage and policy-driven replication
  • Develop Python APIs and contribute features and fixes to Rucio
  • Operate, troubleshoot and support distributed data-management infrastructure

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computing engineering or a related field
  • No more than two years of professional experience since graduation
  • Applicants must not hold a PhD or have held a previous CERN fellow or graduate contract
  • Nationality of a CERN Member or Associate Member State, subject to published nationality ceilings
  • Spoken and written English or French
