Overview

Develops and operates IOM Iraq’s displacement-tracking web and data platforms. The developer maintains websites and portals, creates database objects and dashboards, manages source code, supports data quality, and applies security, backup and data-protection standards across information products.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the DTM website and optimize performance
  • Develop and deploy website content and submission-viewer portals
  • Create SQL tables, views, functions, queries and stored procedures
  • Build visualizations, dashboards and interactive reports
  • Support data collection, quality control, storage and sharing
  • Manage backups, source-code security and data-protection compliance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information management, computer science or a related field with five years of experience, or secondary education with seven years of experience
  • Three years using web-development and database tools including ASP.NET, C#, MySQL or SQL Server
  • Experience with Git and Microsoft Azure Repos
  • Information-management and data-flow experience
  • Fluency in English
