UNFPA seeks a deputy representative based in Abidjan to lead the design, delivery and day-to-day management of the UNFPA country programme; align population, sexual and reproductive health, gender and youth priorities with national plans; build government, United Nations, donor and civil-society partnerships; supervise staff

• Lead the design, delivery and day-to-day management of the UNFPA country programme
• Align population, sexual and reproductive health, gender and youth priorities with national plans
• Build government, United Nations, donor and civil-society partnerships
• Supervise staff and operations
• Mobilise resources
• Strengthen humanitarian preparedness
• And assure programme results, compliance and security

• Postgraduate degree in public health, medicine, sociology, demography, gender, international development, economics, public administration, management or a related field
• 7 years of increasingly responsible international-development and public-administration experience
• Programme design, management, advocacy and policy-dialogue experience
• Field experience
• Required language fluency
