The Deputy Director leads global delivery of FAO’s Digital Workplace and corporate IT portfolio, oversees modernisation projects, budgets and service sourcing, guides IT governance and strategy, develops division leaders and staff, builds partnerships, and represents the division internally and externally.

Responsibilities
- Lead global operations of FAO corporate systems, platforms and digital workplace services
- Direct the portfolio of corporate IT modernisation and transformation projects
- Support divisional strategy, programme planning, quality control and delivery
- Oversee budgets, sourcing, service value and human-resource deployment
- Advise on IT governance, architecture, standards and organisational impact
- Develop unit leaders and strengthen recruitment, mentoring and staff capacity
- Represent the division and act for the Director when required
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in management, IT management, computer science, information systems or a related field
- At least twelve years of relevant ICT delivery and management experience
- Extensive experience delivering complex global IT projects
- Working knowledge at Level C of English and Level B of another FAO official language
