Job Description
Supports the Programme Manager and transnational organised crime team in implementing crime-prevention and criminal-justice activities in Lao PDR. The intern drafts correspondence and programme materials, contributes to reporting and outreach, coordinates with national counterparts and civil society, and helps organise meetings, training, field missions and administrative records.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support implementation and coordination of programme activities with the Programme Manager and TOC Team
- Draft and review correspondence, reports, briefing notes, presentations and meeting minutes
- Contribute to donor reporting and document translation
- Prepare success stories, newsletters and social-media outreach materials
- Coordinate with government counterparts, partners and civil-society organisations
- Organise meetings, workshops, training activities and field missions
- Provide administrative support through filing, scheduling, record management and data compilation
Role Requirements
- Enrolment in or completion of a graduate programme, or enrolment in or completion of the final year of a first university degree
- Field of study closely related to the internship
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and online collaboration tools
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Proof of eligibility for the UN Internship Programme
Desired Criteria
- Fields of study in Law, Political Science, International Relations, Criminology, Economics, Security or Development Studies
- Ability to design surveys, questionnaires and basic data-collection tools
- Experience drafting reports, briefing notes, presentations, newsletters or other written materials
- Experience organising meetings, workshops, training or events
- Ability to work effectively with people from different cultural backgrounds
