Contributes to developing an analytical framework, training needs assessment, and a science diplomacy policy observatory.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on science diplomacy for events, knowledge products and activities
- Support conceptualization and production of outputs for the Tech Diplomacy Forum and Chief Science Advisor's Roundtable
- Develop analytical framework and data-collection methodology for a global science diplomacy study
- Design and disseminate a training needs assessment survey and compile findings into a report
- Contribute to design of an integrated science diplomacy policy observatory on the GOSPIN platform
- Develop plans and background materials for a regional policy dialogue at CILAC 2026 in Brazil
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree (Master's or equivalent) in natural sciences, basic sciences, science policy, International Relations, Development studies or related discipline
- At least 4 to 5 years relevant professional experience with progressive responsibility in natural sciences, basic sciences or science policy
Desired Criteria
- Advanced degree (PhD or equivalent) in natural sciences, science policy or applied statistics/data science is desirable
