Responsibilities

  • Map institutions holding national economic, social and sector data
  • Secure focal points and authorisations for access to required datasets
  • Coordinate structured collection, traceability and transfer of national data
  • Organise consultations with ministries, statistics authorities, UN agencies and civil society
  • Facilitate technical review of data and assumptions by national authorities
  • Document feedback, decisions, data limitations and contextual interpretations
  • Organise validation and dissemination workshops and participant follow-up
  • Support national uptake of findings and track commitments from validation

Requirements

  • Fluency in spoken and written French and Malagasy
  • Knowledge of national surveys, administrative data and sector budget data
  • Ability to coordinate data collection across multiple institutions under tight deadlines
  • Ability to prepare clear structured minutes and synthesis notes in French
