Responsibilities
- Deliver community awareness and public-information activities for the Technical Assistance Centre
- Share approved event information and distribute communication materials in assigned communities
- Collect community feedback and refer technical questions to the responsible project staff
- Set up and maintain signage, banners, information boards and the communications desk
- Capture consent-based photographs and short videos and organise captions and event records
- Record testimonials and success stories and prepare materials highlighting event achievements
- Support digital engagement tools and coordinate communication among participants, stakeholders and service providers
Requirements
- Residence in St. Elizabeth
- Knowledge of the local community and ability to engage people from diverse backgrounds
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Basic digital literacy using smartphones, tablets and common applications
- Ability to collaborate with community members, government agencies, partners, volunteers and UNDP staff
- Availability for flexible hours and outdoor assignments during event preparation and implementation
- English proficiency
