Overview

The national UN Volunteer Project Officer supports UNDP Kosovo’s EU-funded confidence-building programme in Pristina. The role leads communications and public visibility while assisting sub-grant selection, grantee oversight, research and reporting related to war-crimes accountability, victim support and regional dialogue.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and evaluate the project’s annual communication plan
  • Produce press releases, web stories, social-media content and senior-management briefings
  • Coordinate visibility requirements with UNDP and the EU Delegation
  • Support calls for proposals and evaluate applications, budgets and workplans
  • Monitor grantee activities and recommend corrective action
  • Prepare progress and final reports and research replicable solutions

Requirements

  • At least three years of experience with local institutions, civil society or international organizations in communications and project management
  • Demonstrated experience in project implementation and research
  • Experience working with social-media platforms
  • Excellent oral, written, drafting and reporting skills
  • Computer literacy including Microsoft Office
  • Fluency in Albanian and English
