Communicable Diseases Intern

WHO offers a full-time internship pool in Manila across communicable-disease and prevention teams, supporting literature reviews, data collection and analysis, technical tools and policy materials, knowledge dissemination, meetings, project delivery and progress reporting while developing public-health research skills.

Department: Health Promotion, Disease Prevention and Control

• Research priority health topics and synthesize literature
• Collect, organise and quality-assure data and documentation
• Draft technical tools, policy briefs and reports
• Present findings for wider audiences
• Support projects, meetings and progress reporting

• Completion of at least three years of full-time university study before the assignment
• Current enrolment in an eligible course, or graduation within six months before applying
• Expert English proficiency
• Research or report-drafting experience

• Shared applicant pool with assignments determined by technical priorities
• Maximum Manila living allowance is USD 35.80 per day plus USD 5 per working day for lunch
