Job Description

Coordinates mobile care services in Quibdó, strengthening the municipal Care and Support System after the 2026 earthquake. The role links UN Women, municipal authorities and service providers to tailor operating models, mobilise resources and monitor care provision for children, older people, people with disabilities and unpaid carers while embedding a sustainable local service model.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the design, preparation, implementation, operation and monitoring of mobile care-service points in Quibdó
  • Design an adaptable mobile care-service model for territories affected by the 2026 earthquake and other emergencies
  • Tailor service locations, rotation, schedules, access mechanisms and referral routes to Quibdó's needs
  • Coordinate municipal and partner teams to deliver integrated and timely mobile care services
  • Organise equipment, installation and operation of mobile-service tents and components
  • Monitor daily service operations and identify adjustments to capacity, schedules, locations and institutional coordination
  • Guide the Quibdó municipal administration in developing additional care services and a sustainability strategy
  • Document learning, good practices, challenges and recommendations from the mobile-service model

Role Requirements

  • Professional degree in health sciences, social sciences, humanities or a related field
  • At least 3 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years designing, implementing, managing or monitoring care-related policies, programmes, projects or services
  • At least 1 year of demonstrated experience coordinating or leading work teams
  • Spanish

Desired Criteria

  • Postgraduate study in public policy, care, disability, social inclusion or a related field
  • Experience in Community-Based Rehabilitation or in care and rehabilitation strategies for people with disabilities, older people or people requiring support
