Responsibilities
- Coordinate investment-attraction activities undertaken by Mexico’s overseas representations
- Prepare materials for engagement with public institutions responsible for economic and investment policy
- Develop company profiles, briefing notes and meeting materials for engagement with investors
- Identify and track obstacles faced by companies pursuing investment opportunities
- Produce analysis, reports and economic-intelligence materials supporting investment attraction
- Support economic training for Mexico’s diplomatic representations
Requirements
- High school certificate with six years of relevant experience, or a completed bachelor’s degree in economics, law, political science, international relations, public policy, international business or a related field with three years
- Relevant experience in project evaluation, investment attraction, foreign trade, private-sector development, innovation or related areas
- Negotiation experience
- Experience managing teams and time
- Experience managing institutional relationships
- Mexican citizenship with full civil rights, or immigration status permitting the work
