Responsibilities

  • Coordinate investment-attraction activities undertaken by Mexico’s overseas representations
  • Prepare materials for engagement with public institutions responsible for economic and investment policy
  • Develop company profiles, briefing notes and meeting materials for engagement with investors
  • Identify and track obstacles faced by companies pursuing investment opportunities
  • Produce analysis, reports and economic-intelligence materials supporting investment attraction
  • Support economic training for Mexico’s diplomatic representations

Requirements

  • High school certificate with six years of relevant experience, or a completed bachelor’s degree in economics, law, political science, international relations, public policy, international business or a related field with three years
  • Relevant experience in project evaluation, investment attraction, foreign trade, private-sector development, innovation or related areas
  • Negotiation experience
  • Experience managing teams and time
  • Experience managing institutional relationships
  • Mexican citizenship with full civil rights, or immigration status permitting the work
