Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel to the Regional Director and senior leadership
- Advise on legal implications of strategies, partnerships and regional initiatives
- Interpret rules and review official documentation for compliance and risk mitigation
- Support legal preparation of the WHO Regional Committee and other high-level meetings
- Draft and review resolutions, declarations and procedural documents
- Recommend strategies to reduce legal exposure and support administrative decisions
Requirements
- First university degree in law
- At least five years of professional legal-advisory experience
- Expert knowledge of English and intermediate knowledge of French, with the proficiency levels interchangeable
