Job Description

Supports UN Women Sudan’s Women, Peace and Security portfolio through programme delivery, financial administration and partner coordination. The role helps strengthen women’s participation in peacebuilding by maintaining project controls, reporting, knowledge products and operational support across donor-funded initiatives.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Prepare programme workplans, budgets, proposals and implementation arrangements
  • Draft terms of reference, calls for proposals, internal memos and programme reports
  • Track programme progress and maintain monthly and quarterly monitoring tools
  • Track financial resources, partner reporting, fund transfers and budget revisions
  • Organise meetings, workshops, missions and related logistical and administrative arrangements
  • Compile lessons learned, data and knowledge products for the Women, Peace and Security portfolio

Role Requirements

  • Experience supporting programme implementation and coordination
  • Relevant experience in women’s empowerment, peacebuilding, governance, mediation, leadership training or programme coordination
  • Experience organising trainings, workshops, consultations or community engagement activities
  • Strong communication, drafting and reporting skills
  • English proficiency
  • Nationality of Andorra, Croatia, Estonia, Liechtenstein, Malta, Monaco, San Marino or Slovenia

Desired Criteria

  • Experience with UN agencies, NGOs or international organisations
  • Experience in programme monitoring and reporting
  • Knowledge of the Sudan context and peacebuilding landscape
  • Experience working with women-led organisations and youth groups
  • Knowledge of Women, Peace and Security and gender-equality programming
