Job Description
Supports UNICEF Nigeria WASH programming through research, planning, implementation monitoring and documentation. The officer works with government and implementing partners to strengthen evidence-based water, sanitation and hygiene services, emergency preparedness and results for children across several duty stations.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Research WASH and development trends for programme planning
- Collect and analyse programme information for decision-making
- Support WASH workplans, results frameworks and technical documentation
- Monitor programme resources, implementation issues and follow-up actions
- Undertake field visits and provide support to government and NGO partners
- Prepare reporting and communication materials for WASH advocacy
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in public health, social science, behaviour change communication, sanitary engineering or a related field
- At least one year of programme management or WASH experience
- Fluency in English

- Government partnerships and development-partner experience
- Emergency-response and field-monitoring experience
- Data-collection and rural or urban sanitation experience
