The community volunteer mobilizes adolescents and young people around UNICEF platforms and field campaigns in northern Benin, strengthens youth organizations, supports digital learning and employability initiatives, and tracks community action, inclusion and child-mobility needs.

• Mobilize young people for U-Report, YOMA and UNICEF initiatives
• Support field campaigns and community outreach
• Build youth organizations’ mobilization and awareness capacity
• Monitor U-Report community actions and training needs
• Facilitate digital learning spaces in local schools
• Support youth employability and girls’ leadership programmes
• Collect data on child mobility and separated children

• Secondary-school baccalaureate
• At least two years of experience in social mobilization, youth engagement, community activities or a related field
• Knowledge of Benin’s social, cultural, political and economic context
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Residence in the assignment department or commune
• French proficiency

• National full-time Community UN Volunteer assignment for an initial three months
