Responsibilities
- Lead development and planning for UNICEF Moldova’s education programme
- Manage programme implementation, monitoring and delivery against agreed results and resource allocations
- Provide technical guidance on education policy, planning, governance and system strengthening
- Design and monitor equitable and inclusive education initiatives that improve learning outcomes
- Use education-sector evidence and analysis to support policy dialogue and programme decisions
- Build partnerships and advocate with government and other education stakeholders
- Lead and manage the Education Section and coordinate work across sectors and partners
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in education, educational leadership, economics, sociology, psychology, international development or a related field
- At least five years of relevant experience in education, programme management, programme planning or education research
- Proficiency or fluency in both English and Romanian
- Moldovan nationality or residency with authorisation to work, as the role is nationally recruited
