Overview
The senior associate leads the education, children and youth stream of IOM Costa Rica’s migrant integration programme, coordinating implementation, budgets, evidence, partners, capacity building and reporting while supervising staff and adapting delivery across the Greater Metropolitan Area.

Responsibilities
- Lead education, children and youth project implementation
- Monitor budgets, workplans and delivery risks
- Research migration and integration policy developments
- Coordinate government, UN, donor and civil-society partners
- Prepare briefings, reports and programme documentation
- Supervise and train reporting personnel
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in political or social sciences, international relations, development studies, migration studies, human rights, law or a related field with five years of relevant experience, or high school diploma with seven years
- Experience liaising with government, international institutions, UN agencies or NGOs
- Experience working with migrants, refugees, displaced people, trafficking survivors or other vulnerable groups
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Valid residence and work permission for Costa Rica
