Overview
The senior associate leads IOM Costa Rica’s social integration, housing and health work for migrants, coordinating implementation, budgets, research, partner engagement, capacity building and reporting while supervising staff and improving access to essential services across the Greater Metropolitan Area.

Responsibilities
- Lead social integration, housing and health activities
- Monitor budgets, workplans and implementation risks
- Research migration and social-service policy developments
- Coordinate government, UN, donor and civil-society partners
- Prepare briefings, reports and programme documentation
- Supervise and train reporting personnel
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in political or social sciences, international relations, development studies, migration studies, human rights, law or a related field with five years of relevant experience, or high school diploma with seven years
- Experience liaising with government, international institutions, UN agencies or NGOs
- Experience working with migrants, refugees, displaced people, trafficking survivors or other vulnerable groups
- Valid residence and work permission for Costa Rica
