Responsibilities

  • Manage daily Women and Girls Safe Space operations and administrative support to field teams
  • Coordinate monitoring, data validation and reporting against the Annual Work Plan
  • Ensure services comply with survivor-centred GBV standards, ethical data rules and standard procedures
  • Implement quality checks, field monitoring and beneficiary feedback mechanisms
  • Supervise field staff, monitor performance and identify capacity-building needs
  • Coordinate schedules, task allocations and staff wellness measures
  • Support communications, inter-agency coordination and service mapping
  • Develop transition partnerships and address operational bottlenecks with government counterparts

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in project management, public administration, humanitarian action, political science, public health, gender studies, law or a related field
  • At least three years of professional experience in refugee protection focused on gender-based violence and reproductive health, including programme or project management
  • Practical experience designing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating humanitarian or development projects
  • Knowledge of refugee protection and humanitarian action
  • Knowledge of Do No Harm, safeguarding and PSEA principles
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic

  • National consultancy based at the UNFPA Egypt Country Office
  • Travel to project sites within Greater Cairo is required for more than 90% of the assignment
