Disability Inclusion Consultant

The consultant will embed disability inclusion in Ukraine’s social protection reforms, advising the Ministry of Social Policy on policy design, implementation and monitoring. The role will build partnerships with organizations of persons with disabilities and strengthen inclusive, evidence-based recovery systems.

Department: Social Policy

• Advise the Ministry of Social Policy on disability-inclusive social protection reforms
• Integrate disability inclusion into policy design, implementation and monitoring frameworks
• Develop evidence, indicators and inclusive monitoring approaches for national systems
• Build partnerships with organizations of persons with disabilities, government and development partners
• Adapt international disability-inclusion practices to Ukraine’s recovery context

• Bachelor’s degree in social policy, public health, social protection, disability studies, international development or a related field
• At least eight years of disability and social protection policy advisory or programme design experience
• Experience supporting national policy or system reform
• Fluency in English

• On-site assignment for 13 months
• Ukrainian and knowledge of another official UN language are assets
