Responsibilities
- Manage the Migration Solutions Unit and oversee financial, logistical, administrative and technical delivery
- Monitor programme work plans, evaluate results and implement corrective action
- Integrate gender, protection and human-rights considerations across programme implementation
- Develop project concepts and draft proposal components based on local evidence
- Coordinate methodologies, contingency plans and standard operating procedures
- Produce compliant reports for donors, government and other stakeholders
- Represent IOM in migration, development, labour mobility and resilience policy forums
- Supervise, train and guide programme staff and undertake monitoring travel
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a listed relevant field with four years of professional experience, or master’s degree in one of those fields with two years of professional experience
- Experience liaising with government authorities, international institutions, UN agencies and non-governmental organisations
- Experience working with migrants, refugees and other vulnerable groups
- Experience in labour migration, refugee integration, migration health, climate mobility or emergency preparedness
- Fluency in written and spoken English, Russian and Tajik
